Ben Affleck talks about his romance with Jennifer Lopez: It's a beautiful story

The actor Ben Affleck granted to WSJ magazine a very frank interview in which he discreetly mentioned his renewed romance with Jennifer Lopez with whom he was engaged from 2002 to 2004.

The actor first talked about his new film The Tender Bar, and the fact that his character had been given a second chance and the importance of these in life. An evocation that allowed the interviewer to address the subject of second chances in love.

Ben Affleck then explained that he wanted to keep a little restraint on his private life. But mentioned that he lived a beautiful story with the singer and that a marriage was not excluded.

I can say it's really a great story for me, he said. And, you know, one of the things I really appreciate about all facets of my life now is that it's been managed in a way that reflects that. My life now reflects not only the person I want to be, but the person I really feel like I am, and I'm not perfect, but someone who tries very hard and cares very much about being honest and authentic and accountable. It's hard to say who benefits the most, without getting into the details of gossip. I could just say that I feel good about being very healthy. And that's a great story.

Ben Affleck hopes to be a husband again one day. Fear drove me to immerse myself in work. It's only in the last four years that I haven't been so terrified, because I recognize that I'm not going to die without work. The most important thing in my life is being a good father, being a good man. And a good person. And, hopefully, you know, a good husband.
