Paris Hilton's PHARAONIC wedding: her menu included potatoes covered in gold

Paris Hilton's lavish wedding to Carter Reum featured a reception where gold leaf potatoes were served to guests, among other extravagant dishes, all prepared by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck, reports the website Fansided.

A menu from the celebration shows an appetizer of Asian pear salad with figs, pomegranate vinaigrette and candied pecans, served with butternut squash tortelloni flavored with brown butter and crispy sage. An assortment of bread with sweet cream butter was also offered as an appetizer.

For the main course, guests were treated to a potato-crusted sea bass appetizer as well as a grilled New York steak with Yukon Gold potatoes topped with sour cream, caviar - and of course gold leaf.

For dessert, Paris Hilton opted for a flourless chocolate cake served with coffee ice cream, and a fruit tart with almond streusel and vanilla ice cream.

Other appetizers included duck, vegetarian spring rolls with crispy shrimp, deviled quail eggs with caviar, pizza with smoked salmon and fresh caviar, and Spago Signature spicy tuna tartar.

And for late night bites, revelers could enjoy three-cheese grilled cheeses, mini cheeseburgers, duck fat fries, bigs in a blanket and fruit and vegetable macaroons.

Hilton, 40, and Reum, 40, said YES at the Bel-Air estate of her late grandfather Barron on Thursday. The three-day festivities continue with a carnival on the Santa Monica Pier on Friday and a black-tie party on Saturday.

The bride wore an Oscar de la Renta gown with long sleeves covered in flower embroidery to walk down the aisle, but she changed her outfit three times during the evening.

Among the high-profile guests who attended her extravagant nuptials were Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Demi Lovato, Emma Roberts, Bebe Rexha, Evan Ross, Kyle Richards, Paula Abdul, Stacy Bendet, her sister Nicky Hilton and her mother Kathy Hilton.

Paris and Carter confirmed their relationship in April 2020 and got engaged in February. The star's husband proposed on a private island after dating Hilton for a year, giving her a diamond ring.
