Rapper Travis Scott will reimburse all visitors of the mourned festival in Houston

American rapper Travis Scott plans to refund all visitors to the Astroworld festival following the deadly crowd movement that occurred during his concert there, insiders told U.S. entertainment industry magazine Variety. Travis Scott also decided to cancel his appearance at the Day N Vegas Festival, normally scheduled for this weekend, being too upset to perform.

The artist also plans to cover the funeral expenses of the eight deceased festival-goers. He also plans, in collaboration with the American organization BetterHelp, to set up a psychological assistance line for people who feel the need.

At least eight people were killed and many more injured in a crowd movement Friday night during the Astroworld music festival in Texas, in the southern United States. In total, nearly 50,000 people were in the crowd, where more than 360 police officers and 240 security guards were mobilized.

According to him, Travis Scott would not have noticed that the crowd was completely out of control. The rapper has already made it known that he will cooperate with the relevant authorities in the investigation planned to clarify the circumstances of this tragedy.

At least 12 people have filed a lawsuit against the rapper and the organizers of the music festival.
